I have 5 wonderful children.When I became pregnant with my first, I was introduced to midwives. For all of my births, I had a midwife to deliver me. For some of my births, she was by my side for the entire labor. For other births, the midwife came in just for the delivery. It was such a different experience for me when I had an extra person by my side. It was reassuring, comforting and kept me focused. I knew that I was capable of birth because I had my support system. I am excited to be part of your support system in your choices for your birth. I want to combine the knowledge, passion and experience that I have together with the desires and vision that you have for your birth journey. I am a firm believer that the father has such a crucial role at the birth of his child, and I hope to help him find his vision also. I attend both in and out of hospital births.
